Autism Resources
Dental Care Resources
We have received some information from an organisation called "Byte" - an organization which promotes and supports dental health. They have written a guide for parents on dental care for autistic children. We appreciate that dental and oral hygiene can be a really tricky area for many of our autistic students, especially those with sensory sensitivities. The guide is written for a US audience, so some of the information about accessing care, products etc is not relevant. But there are some helpful tips, ideas, social stories and visual schedules that may be useful.
